Bentley Bentayga is Bentley’s flagship sports utility vehicle, an all-terrain and all-purpose vehicle. Bentley has been making progress on the SUV market since the launch of Bentayga in 2016.
Bentley’s history
Bentley is a British company, founded in 1919 by Walter Owen Bentley, which manufactures luxury cars and SUVs and is headquartered in Crewe, England. It currently manufactures four luxury models, including the Mulsanne, Bentayga, Continental GT and the Flying Spur.
Enter the Bentayga
The Bentley Bentayga was developed as a crossover five-door all-wheel drive after other luxury car manufacturers such as Mercedes Benz, BMW, Rolls Royce and Porsche entered into the SUV market.

Its first debut was at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show and was Bentley’s first SUV that featured unibody construction and full-time all-wheel drive mode.
Bentley Bentayga Specs
The bi-turbo 12-cylinder petrol engine delivers combined fuel, torque and efficiency that reaches 0 to 100 km in 4 seconds and a top speed of 301 km/h making it the fastest SUV in the world.
Bentayga’s engine blends direct-injection and port-injection technologies that allow for a smooth transition between the two and, beginning in 2017, has started to have a diesel option.
Bentley Bentayga Interior
The interior is created by their internal customization company Mulliner which creates all their bespoke and limited-edition accessories. Their customers can customize their Bentayga paint, interior hides and carpets.
Bentley Bentayga comes with a full leather trimmed interior with 15 premium color combinations to choose from with Bentley emblems on the seats.
The infotainment system is a wide 8-inch Touch Screen that supports 60 GB of data, Text-to – Speech Voice Control, On-board Navigation, 10-speaker audio system.
Bentley Bentayga also offers optional features such as Rear Privacy Glass, Neon Chromed Matrix Style Grille to Lower Bumper Apertures, Body Colored Lower Bodywork, Veneered Center Fascia Panel, Contrast Stitching, Four Seat Comfort Model with Rear Center Console, Bentley Signature Audio, among many others.
Bentley Bentayga 2020 Edition
The upcoming 2020 version of Bentley Bentayga will see a redesigned look that will see a reconfigured headlight style in line with their recent Flying Spur and Continental styles.However, this distinguishable prominent grille and 3 lower air intakes can still be seen.
The Bentley Bentayga 2020 edition will come with a four or seven seat configuration option, giving the newer models an option of having central seats and a third row of seats at the back.
This latest version will see the Bentley Bentayga becoming a luxurious family bus or limousine, depending on the customer’s choice.
The seven-seater will give the full flexibility to allow rear passengers to enjoy their own rear entertainment platform, add more passenger carrying room, and fold automatically to provide more luggage space.
