FNB eWallet is the convenient way of sending money of up to R3 000 a day instantly to anyone in South Africa with a valid cell phone number. The eWallet facility is available in three options namely eWallet, eWallet eXtra and eWallet Pro.
eWallet from FNB allows customers to send money easily, instantly and securely from their FNB account and the recipient doesn’t have to have an FNB account to collect it.
FNB account holders can send money through cellphone banking, online banking, the banking app or an FNB ATM machine.

How to Send Money through Cellphone Banking
Dial *120*321# and choose the “Send Money” option, choose “Send eWallet” option and choose the account you want to send the money from. Fill in the recipient’s cell phone number and the amount you wish to send and click “Yes”.
Confirm if the details and amount being sent is correct and that will be it. With this option you can send a maximum daily amount of R1 500.
How to Send Money through Online Banking
Login into your online banking and go to the “Send Money” tab, choose “Once Off” option and add the recipient’s cell phone number and amount you wish to send, confirm the details and once you submit you will get a One Time Pin to confirm the transaction. With this option you can send a maximum daily limit of R3 000.
How to Send Money using the FNB App
Login into your FNB App and choose the “Send Money” option, choose “Send Money to eWallet” and fill out the cellphone number and amount you want to send and click “Send”, lastly confirm the transaction. With this option you can send a daily maximum of R3 000.
How to Send Money using the FNB ATM
At the FNB ATM machine put in your FNB Card and enter your PIN, go to the “More Options” button, choose the “Send or Receive Money” option, select “Send Money to eWallet” and follow the onscreen prompts.
You will need to enter the recipient’s cell phone number and amount you wish to send and follow the prompts onscreen until the transaction is confirmed. This option allows you to send a daily maximum of R1 500.
How to do an eWallet Reversal
For cellphone banking, the FNB eWallet reversal number is 087 575 9405. Additionally, you can follow the steps below:
- To get started, dial *120*321# on your phone.
- For “Send Money,” choose option 4.
- Next, choose option 5 for “eWallet reversal.”
- Choose the transaction you’d like to undo.
If you transfer money to the wrong person and call the company’s customer service, the money will be returned to you in 4 working days. If the recipient’s phone number does not work, money is returned to the sender within 15 working days.

The facility will be able to send and receive money from people and will store funds for unlimited periods of time and will act like a normal bank account. You will be able to also pay accounts, buy prepaid airtime, data or electricity.
FNB eWallet Pro
The FNB eWallet Pro facility allows businesses to minimise the challenges and risks associated with handling cash and cheques, and allows them to pay their employees or clients electronically and instantly without the need for them to have an FNB account.
Their employees or clients can easily access their funds using a eWallet Pro VISA debit card or their cell phone number. The eWallet Pro has four credit card options namely the, Merchant Restricted Card, eWallet Pro International card and the eWallet Pro Gift card.
