Misplacing or experiencing theft of your FNB card can be a stressful occurrence. However, FNB provides a straightforward procedure for you to request a replacement card via online banking or their mobile app.

Online Banking Replacement Request Process

Should you prefer to use the online banking platform for this process, these steps will guide you:

  1. Open your preferred web browser and go to FNB’s website, fnb.co.za. Login to your online banking profile using your username and password.
  2. On the main dashboard, select the ‘My Bank Accounts’ tab. This is where all your linked FNB bank accounts are displayed.
  3. Click on the ‘My Cards’ sub-tab, which displays all the cards linked to your accounts.
  4. Now, choose the bank account for which the card was lost or stolen.
  5. Once you select an account, the replace card capture page will appear. This is where you input the details for your replacement card.
  6. If there’s more than one card linked to the selected bank account, a drop-down menu will appear for you to specify which card type you need to replace.
  7. Fill out the card delivery details. Please ensure that you provide precise information to prevent any potential delivery complications.
  8. After completing the information, click continue.
  9. A confirmation page will appear and you must check if all the information shown is correct.
  10. If all information is accurate, click confirm.
  11. After confirming, click on ‘finish’ to complete your request.

FNB Mobile App Replacement Request Process

If you prefer using FNB’s mobile app, follow these instructions:

  1. Open the FNB mobile app on your mobile device and sign in using your credentials.
  2. Tap the home button, located at the bottom left of your screen, to navigate to the main menu.
  3. From the main menu, tap on the ‘cards’ or ‘my cards’ menu option. This will display all the cards linked to your account.
  4. Then, select the ‘add card” or ‘virtual card’ option. This will prompt the card replacement request page.
  5. Tap on ‘Order Card.’ to start the process.
  6. Fill out all the necessary information, including card type, delivery address, etc., then submit your request.

FNB charges a flat fee of R120 for the replacement of a lost or stolen card. This fee encompasses all service and delivery expenses associated with issuing a new card.
