TymeBank Credit Card is now available

TymeBank Credit Card – as part of a continuing campaign to recruit more middle-income consumers, digital bank TymeBank has released its first credit card.

According to TymeBank CEO Tauriq Keraan, the Visa credit card is being issued in collaboration with RCS and is part of the bank’s goal to widen its client base.

The card was in the works for a while, but the bank deliberated long and hard about when to launch it, especially given the current consumer situation. However, if used appropriately, a credit card is a safe and simple way to pay that may add value to your budget and lifestyle.

TymeBank, according to Keraan, will guarantee that cardholders have all of the information they need to make the most out of their credit card while also controlling their debt.

How can you get a TymeBank Credit Card?

Applicants must be 18 years old or older, working, and earn R3,000 or more per month to be eligible for a TymeBank CreditCard.

They must also have a valid South African ID or driver’s license, as well as a bank account in South Africa. The tap-and-go credit card, according to TymeBank, may be used to make online and point-of-sale transactions at over 29 million retailers globally.

Pick n Pay Smart Shopper points are earned every time a cardholder uses their TymeBank CreditCard (in-store or online), and points are easily assigned to their Smart Shopper account.

Cardholders may double their Smart Shopper earnings by using the card in Pick n Pay retailers. Those who join up before April 30, 2022, will receive a unique launch offer that allows them to earn up to four times more Smart Shopper points when they scan and pay at Pick n Pay during that time.

The following are some of the other characteristics and advantages:

  1. For further security, receive free SMS notifications.
  2. The first card is delivered for free by courier.
  3. Up to three additional cards for family members are available to cardholders.
  4. If the whole amount outstanding is paid on time every month, you can get up to 55 days of interest-free credit.
