Zapper is now supported by FNB Pay

Customers of FNB may now make contactless payments at Zapper-enabled merchants across the nation using the FNB Pay Scan to Pay function on their banking applications.

FNB Pay has integrated Zapper QR code payments as the latest digital contactless payment option.

This follows when FNB allowed Tap payments on its virtual cards and integrated virtual cards to third-party payment accounts such as Samsung Pay and Garmin Pay.

FNB confirmed in a tweet that all FNB and RMB Private Bank clients may use the Scan to Pay function on their banking App to scan QR codes from the major QR code suppliers in South Africa.

FNB retail CEO Raj Makanjee stated that the bank was always exploring for new ways to provide consumers a variety of digital payment choices through FNB Pay as safe and easy options to cash.

FNB has seen a 725 percent increase in FNB Pay supported digital payments transactions over the last 12 months, with month-on-month increases.

Customers may set up a Scan to Pay widget or shortcut from their app to the home screen for a quick and simple method to use the service, according to the bank’s head of digital payments, Jason Viljoen.

On the FNB website, clients can discover a step-by-step tutorial for setting up QR Code payments on their Android or iOS smartphone.
